The flying site is situated within the grounds of Pontefract Racecourse.
Leave the M62 motorway at junction 32 and head towards Pontefract town centre on Park Road (A639).
Continue straight forward, on the A639 thorough the traffic lights and under the railway bridge. The racecourse is on your right. A few hundred metres along this road, you will see an entrance to your right, with a large double white coloured gate.

This gate is kept locked (except during competition or event days) and every club member has a key.
The flying site is entered through this gate, crossing the race track and then turning right onto the unmade road. The flying site is located by following this unmade road, for a few hundred metres. Visitors can access the site, by parking in the main race course public car park and then walking down across the playing fields, towards the motorway.
